Melissah Yang is a multiplatform editor at CNN Digital, running social and programming strategies for the Entertainment and Media premium businesses. She is based in Los Angeles. Her day-to-day includes planning content distribution and promotion, executing sponsorships and innovating storytelling on new and emerging platforms. When she isn’t buried behind 30 tabs on her giant monitor, Melissah is live-tweeting raw moments from the Emmys red carpet and producing Facebook Lives with celebrities and talent in studio.
Melissah was previously an associate news editor at Bustle and an online tech reporter at the Los Angeles Business Journal. She received a B.A. in English literature at UCLA and a M.A. in Journalism at USC Annenberg.
A SoCal girl at heart, Melissah takes pride in her mastery of Real Housewives trivia and considers the day she told Ringo Starr about her college thesis on the Beatles’ “White Album” to be one of the greatest days of her life.
